Microsoft xRM To Up Partner Sales

The wraps are beginning to come off Microsoft’s (MSFT) next version of Dynamics CRM, scheduled for release in the latter half of 2010. In fact, test versions could be released to partners within approximately 90 days. The newest version, 5.0, will provide an enhanced user interface and sales and marketing capabilities.

Additionally, Microsoft is pushing what it calls “xRM” applications – software allowing for the management of a wide variety of relationship-type tasks. The company predicts this xRM opportunity will push Microsoft server sales heavily through the channel this year.
