McGraw will waive the set up and six months of recurring fees for the inventory management service on accounts billing up to $25,000 per month that agents sell prior to Dec. 31, 2009, as long as $5,000 of the monthly billings are placed with McGraw. Under this promo, McGraw also will offer free inventory management for new McGraw services billing a minimum of $2,500, explained Frank Ahearn, CEO for McGraw. He said the typical cost for the asset management solution would be about 20 percent of the billing for setup and 3 percent monthly.
McGraw has partnered with its sister company, 20/20 ComWare, to provide a co-branded asset management tool to the partners. The tool, called Sophia (meaning “wisdom”), was built more than a year ago by in-house developers to help businesses manage their telecommunications assets and contracts. The product and associated professional services were spun out into a separate company in August to enable agents to rebrand the portal.
Ahearn said agents can use the tool to gain visibility into a customer’s total spend and this will enable them to gain more of their customer’s business. In one example, he said an agent was able to identify that a company had met it volume commitments on a carrier contract and was able to sell the customer on putting the rest on McGraw’s network, saving the customer money while getting compensated.
